PSA from organizers: It's been raining & freezing IN TOWN. It was mentioned that having cleated footwear/ice grippers/traction cleats would be a good idea for those who staying closer to sea level.
Saturday Freestyle Sprint
START LIST - link to folder is live. Start list and heat schedule are posted 1/18/2024 (4pm).
PARKING INFORMATION - There are two lots by Harbinson Lane (by trailhead). Third lot along Olson Mountain Road. Carpool if possible and park tight. There is room for 120 vehicles between the three lots. The goal is to park as few cars as possible on the road. Parking VOLUNTEERS will be onsite in the morning.
RESULTS & Heat Start List will be posted in the stadium area and the timing team will do its best to post on What's App.

Bib Pickup - Qualification Races

Training teams (ANR, AWS, APU, FXC) will receive bibs to distribute to their athletes for the Qualification Races.

Unaffiliated athletes may pick up their bib from the equipment building at Lookout Mountain.
Bib Pickup - Heats
All skiers who qualify for afternoon heats will pick up their bibs from the equipment building at Lookout Mountain beginning at approximately 11:45-12:00. Bib distribution will close at 3pm, so make sure to get your red bib before closing time.

Awards Ceremony
Awards ceremony will follow each sprint final. Awards will be given to the top 3 racers of each A Final heat, U20, U18, U16, & U14 athletes. If more than three U16 athletes qualify in the top 30, the age group awards will reflect final rank order from the Open Heats.
Beginning in 2023-24 season, the U08/U10/U12 will gather all racers for post-race podium photos and all skiers in these age groups will receive Besh Cup race gifts.
