Tuesday, March 17 Race
First of all - THANK YOU to everyone who has supported the first two Tuesday Night Ski Races! The organizing committee was pleasantly stunned by all of your enthusiasm! This race series is a fund raiser for the UAA Ski Team and the Seawolf athletes have thoroughly enjoyed hosting these events. We were looking forward to a beautiful spring race on the awesome Hillside ski trails.
We were hoping there would be a way to host the final race in the series as planned. At this time, it's not prudent to do so. We are working on Plan B and Plan C and will give all who are registered for the Tuesday, March 17 race a way to be part of a future plan.
Plan B - The Girdwood Nordic Ski Club is planning a ski race on Saturday, April 4 and would like to invite all participants who are currently registered for the Tuesday March 17 race to attend the Girdwood race. The event is not set up on Facebook as of yet but we will be working with them and will inform all registrants via email of the details. Also, watch the Tuesday Night Ski Race Facebook page for details.
Plan C - For those unable to attend the Girdwood race, or if the Girdwood race does not happen, we will transfer the adult entry fees toward your entry in next year's Tuesday Night Ski Race series. If your entry was discounted because you entered the series, we'll figure out that detail accordingly for next year.
Please note - the entry fee information is in regards to the adults who paid an entry fee. Youth entrants were free (thank you ConocoPhillips!) We will not transfer any youth entry information to the 2020-21 season.
Thank you for understanding - but keep on skiing! Skis are about the perfect social distance from one another...but we just couldn't assemble so many of you all in one place.
