Bib Pickup

Bibs will be distributed in the Kincaid Chalet from 8am-11am for qualification races and from Noon-4pm for the afternoon sprint heats.

  • U14 & u16 skiers who move on to Semifinal heats:

    • In the interest of the volunteers’ time, please pick up your bib by 4pm.

Chip Pickup

Chips will be distributed in the Start Area. Plan to be there with sufficient time before your start time to get your chip secured.

Equipment Check-in (FIS Race Only)

The top 60 seeded athletes and the 30 athletes who qualify for the Open Sprint Heats (Heats 1-16) are required to deliver skis to the Equipment Control Area NO LATER than 10 minutes before your designated start time.

 

For racers competing in the Open Heats (1-16), skiers will return skis to the Equipment Control Area at their designated time. Skis will remain in the Equipment Control Area during the heats Classic wax touch-ups are allowed. Coaches have been briefed on the protocol.

 

Qualification Race Order

Start Time 10:00am

  • U16+ Female (1.4km)

  • U6+ Male (1.4km)

  • U14 Female (1.2km))

  • U14 Male (1.2km)

U08/U10/U12 (400m)

Start Time 11:45am

Events include a Preliminary and Final Heats

 

U08/U10/U12 Race Order

  • U08/U10 Female & Male Preliminary (all ski)

  • U12 Female Preliminary (all ski)*

  • U12 Male Preliminary (all ski)*

  • U08/U10 Female & Male Final (all ski)

  • U12 Female Final (all ski in either A Final or B Final)*

  • U12 Male Final (all ski in either A Final or B Final)*

*If there are fewer than 10 entrants, there will only be one Preliminary Heat and only an A Final.

​Spectator and Venue Information

Waxing available at Kincaid Bunker. Open to athletes and spectators (though the wax tables take up a lot of the space available.) Restrooms available in the bunker, the chalet and portapotties available behind the scoreboard.

Look for Boom Ba Laddy's food truck near the scoreboard in the lower parking lot.

Awards Ceremony link

Awards ceremony will follow each race. Awards will be given to each age group through U20 as well as Overall awards to the top 3 of U18+ races.

 

Beginning in 2023-24 season, the U08/U10/U12 will gather all racers for post-race podium photos and all skiers in these age groups will receive Besh Cup race gifts.

Solstice Tree Tour

NSAA hosts the Solstice Tree Tour today. This involves people walking to the Mize Loop to set up decorations. There will be a walking lane off the course - but please be aware of the non ski traffic. The first race of the day is at 10am in an effort to be done as early as possible. Ski fast everyone!
