Becoming a US Ski & Snowboard Official

CCAK has a commitment to help develop ski race officials. If you are interested in becoming US Ski & Snowboard or FIS certified, contact CCAK at info@crosscountryalaska.org. While state-wide US Ski & Snowboard/FIS officials are nominally paid for their services, this position is more of a labor of love to maintain the high level of ski racing that Alaska has developed. If you have knowledge and experience of racing and would like to participate as a race official on a volunteer basis to begin your journey, please contact CCAK. From there future opportunities arise for training that may be partially supported by CCAK.

More information on the journey of becoming a US Ski & Snowboard certified coach can be found here.
