Additionally, after the World Junior Biathlon Championships recently held in Anchorage – Kenai skier and National Guard member Travis Cooper qualified for the World Junior Biathlon team also securing him a slot on Team Alaska for Junior Nationals.

Skiers who place in the top 20 of the World Junior Points list prequalify for a slot on Team Alaska without going against the number of skiers quota.

Skiers who place 21-30 of the World Junior Points list also prequalify for a slot on Team Alaska – though their prequlification goes against the number of skiers quota.

The CCAK points lists will reflect the skiers who prequalified.
