Alaska Nordic Racing Masters & Adult Ski Program

Founders Ja Dorris and Joey Caterinichio of Alaska Nordic Racing; www.alaskanordicracing.org, have been providing Nordic ski coaching for years in the Anchorage and Eagle River areas. ANR currently provides ski programs ranging from young juniors to masters. ANR provides a fun, diverse and successful masters program of over 50 skiers in Eagle River.

Due to your requests, ANR is now starting up an Anchorage Masters/Adult Ski Program.

Skiers of all abilities are invited to join our group. If you want to learn how to ski, improve your technique, become a faster racer, get in better condition or any combination of the above this program is for you.

In addition to ski technique we will cover waxing, training methods, equipment and gear.

This program provides an avenue to become a better skier no matter what your current level is or what your skiing goals are.

With our large staff skiers will be in small groups getting attention from qualified, experienced coaches.

When: Monday and Wednesday
Where: Kincaid Park (meet at the Chalet)
Time: 6:15-7:45pm
Dates: January 28-March 5

Cost: $120.00 for 12 sessions
$80.00 (punch card for 8 sessions for flexibility, pick your nights Minimum for punch card is 8)

Note: If you live in the Eagle River area the Eagle River Sessions: Tuesday and Thursday's 6:30-8:00pm (Meet at the Beach Lake Chalet)

This years group will be limited to the first 25 that sign up. Next year the Anchorage Masters group will be expanded and lengthened from Jan 2nd-March.

All skiers will be encouraged to ski the Tour of Anchorage. Waxing help will be provided.

We recommend you be a member of the Nordic Ski Club of Anchorage.
