Athletes who live outside of Anchorage will need to provide their own transportation and or add additional cost for their travel to Anchorage. 

** Meals: These will be hotel meals.  Athletes will need to bring extra money for grocery store runs and whatever else they need.

***Cost Disclaimer:  Unfortunately, this is a VERY expensive trip.  We are still negotiating on a few items and hope to reduce the total a bit.  We have done everything we can to keep the costs down, but this is a long, 12 day trip to the other end of the country.  Additionally, Cross Country Alaska is not able to donate any money this year to subsidize the cost of the trip (needless to say we are gladly accepting donations and would greatly appreciate help raising money to support our efforts to develop Junior skiers while keeping our sport as affordable as possible).

The team will fly in and out of Boston, which saves hundreds of dollars each on plane tickets.  Then we will drive to Presque Isle, Maine, with a stop over during the drive in Portland, Maine.  We expect to rent 5 large vans, plus a u-haul.  We are bringing 12 coaches who will also be doing a lot of driving.

REFUNDS:  All contingency money left over from the JN trip will come back to you.  The average yearly refund is about $60.00-$100.00.  Checks are mailed from CCAK.
