Here are the dates, formats and distances for the Besh Cup races this winter.

Cross Country Alaska is excited to announce the 2008-2009 Besh Cup race series. The Besh Cup is the premier ski race series in Alaska and is open to skiers of all ages. The series draws approximately 300 entries from all parts of the state to each of the six races.

The Besh Cup series will determine Team Alaska for the 2008 Junior Olympic National Championships. Please be sure to read the notice about USSA licenses. This is extremely important for all juniors, as well as top senior and master skiers.

In addition to the junior racers, Besh Cup races also attract a diverse field of Senior and Master skiers, making these races fun for the whole family. Cross Country Alaska awards medals to the series winners in every age-class from Junior 6's through Masters. Ribbons are awarded to all finishers in the youngest age groups (J6 & J5) at every race.

We look forward to seeing you at Besh Cup races this winter!
