Tsalteshi Trail Association is hosting the 2008 CCAK Championship Race on Saturday, March 22.
There will be a 15K and a 30K race.  Anyone can sign up for either distance.

Location: Tsalteshi Ski Trails, Soldotna (behind Skyview High School)
Start Time: 11:00 AM
Start Method: Mass Start
Technique: Freestyle.
Age Classes: All ages
Entry Deadline: March 20th, 2008.
Registration: CCAK Website @ www.crosscountryalaska.org
Entry Fee: $20.00.
Late Entries: Day of race registration at Skyview High School until 10:00 AM. Race day fee $25.00.

 Distance: There will be a 15K and a 30K race.  Anyone can sign up for either distance.  (This is a change from the either announcement that specified the 15K for juniors and 30K for adults)

The course is holding up great and skiing very fast. You can find a course map on our web site (tsalteshi.org). We will have a single mass start at 11 AM. 

Note: Actual distances are Lap 1= 12,550M, Lap 2 = 12,847 M. Total = 25397 M.

We will recognize 1st, 2nd and 3rd in male and female J3, J2,J1, OJ, Senior and Master. We will mail them their award (an engraved wax scraper) later.
